About
Howdy! I’m Kevin Wojkovich and this is my written presence on the Internet. 100% my own keystrokes, no AI. All thoughts and opinions are my own and do not reflect those of whomever is attempting to employ me.
Interests and Hobbies
My interests include, but not limited to:
- Computers: Modern and “Retro”
- Running code and application: mostly other peoples’ and sometimes my own
- Producing code: Authoring or generating my own code and applications
- Tech history: How did I get here? read in David Byrne’s voice
- Varied musical interests: EDM, Techno, Chicago House, Disco, Neo-classical, jazz, and more!
- Biking: On the road. When I lived in Chicago, my bicycle was my primary mode of transportation.
I really enjoy tinkering and building half-baked side projects. I’ll include more here but my current dabblings include:
- FPGA implementation of a CPU, from scratch! I was born before the home computer revolution of the late 70’s and 80’s. No AI, just me and Verilog. Can I get something that I can work on an Advent of Code … or power a Tamagotchi-themed totem?
- AI orchestrator and running a LLM at home: Can I do it better? What magic is involved? How many Honda Civics must I sell?
- I’ll eventually get around to repairing the TI-99/4a, Commadore 128, and Commadore 64 that I have on my shelf.
Find me on GitHub, although I mostly work in private repositories in exchange for my paycheck.
